The superintend of police, Madurai circle visited all places where Nomads reside in Madurai to see their position and needs to maintain law and order among them, considering the petition submitted personally by Mrs.R. Maheswari, Secretary of TENT- Society along with group of nomads. On visiting the settlements and having interaction with them, he promised all the possible helps as per government norms for their peaceful living on 29th September,2012.
