During October 2006, Panchayat election was conducted in Tamilnadu. Since nomadic people are living at various places in scattered manner, TENT took earnest steps to insist the awareness about panchayat raj system and significance of participation in local body elections. People were given awareness about panchayat, general election as well as adult franchise.
